JSS/KS 3 & SSS/KS 4 Curricular

The Junior Secondary school (JSS/KS 3) curriculum covers all the basic subjects which enable students to acquire basic critical knowledge and skills on which they can build and advance to the next level in their educational journey, in addition to qualifying them to sit for Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and Cambridge Check Point Examination

The Senior Secondary School (SSS/KS4) Curriculum prepares students adequately for final national and international secondary school examinations thus leading to progression to tertiary educational pursuit. The examinations include

In their final year of JSS/KS 3, the students sit for Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and Cambridge Check Point. . At the Senior Secondary School (SSS) level, the curriculum covers five key subject areas:

  • One Trade or Entrepreneurship subject from a list of 35 subjects
  • Computer Studies
  • Civic Education

Students are also to offer three or four subjects from the below listed distinct fields making a total of maximum of nine (9) subjects for the senior secondary school.
